• Developed specifically for forestry applications, the DX225LL-7 pairs the recognizable power of DEVELON excavators with specialized forestry features.

• With improved lift capacity and increased swing torque, the DX225LL-7 can swing heavy logs more efficiently, even when moving the load uphill. The fine swing function reduces the amount of swinging when working with heavy loads, resulting in better control and safer operation. And the one-touch power boost, conveniently located on the right-hand joystick, provides a momentary hydraulic boost when you need more lifting power.

• It features a fully guarded, high-walker undercarriage and upper structure designed to hold up to all-day forestry jobs. Each track includes heavy-duty links with double grouser shoes and full-length track guards.

• Forestry protection extends to the upper structure. Machine guarding includes mainframe reinforcement with full under-house plate guarding, updated boom cylinder guard, integral catwalks, heavy-duty side doors with guarding over the hydraulic pump and cooling system doors, and undercarriage guarding.

• The cab features a 4-foot riser with reinforced front and top guarding, which provides protection without sacrificing visibility. The cab also features 90-degree hydraulic tilting for transport.

• The optional side-entry forestry cab is certified for Oregon OSHA and British Columbia WCB standards. It features an optional upgraded 32-mm guarded polycarbonate front window, polycarbonate side and rear windows.
