The 48-hp (36-kW) diesel engine delivers optimal fuel economy, durability and performance for efficient stump cutting of all sizes.

This direct-drive system delivers the maximum amount of power to the cutter wheel and requires minimal maintenance.

Exclusive SmartSweep control system monitors engine load, providing continuous feedback for a smooth, consistent cutter wheel sweep rate, maximizing efficiency and productivity while minimizing machine wear and tear.

With exceptional straight-line cutting dimensions, the SC48TX can tackle stumps big and small efficiently, with minimal need for repositioning.

Options for both the Vermeer cutting system (VCS) or Yellow Jacket™ cutter system give you the choice to select the wheel that is right for your operation and ground conditions.

The swing out control station helps protect the operator from thrown objects while providing optimal visibility at the stump.

The operator presence system allows the cutter wheel to automatically stop when the operator releases the hydraulic cutter wheel controls.
