2024 Vermeer® AX17

The Vermeer AX17 brush chipper is designed for the tree care contractor looking to do high production arborist work. Optimize crew size on the jobsite through mechanized feeding with horizontal off-set feed rollers and a fixed-infeed table. Plus, this single axle fully configured machine under 10,000 lb (4,536 kg) helps with transportation around congested urban areas.

Providing over 6,500 lb (2,948 kg) of pull-in power, the AX17 uses the SmartCrush and SmartFeed control systems that reduce the need for operator interaction when feeding difficult material.

The single axle fully configured machine under 10,000 lb (4,536 kg) helps with ease of transportation around congested urban areas and minimizes the need for additional license requirements.

Feed your way

The patented winch boom design can be raised out of the way when mechanically feeding the machine.
